RJN Group is proud to announce that Karen Rico, PE, has been promoted to the newly created position of Regional Director of Infrastructure Assessment. This strategic appointment will guide infrastructure assessment operations across Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.
Rico brings 13 years of experience with RJN Group and a proven track record of leadership in
collection system evaluation and infrastructure improvement programs. Her expertise in data analysis and management services has been instrumental in delivering accurate assessments and effective solutions for clients facing complex water infrastructure challenges.

Rico's technical expertise focuses on asset inspection and data collection to deliver prioritized, impactful remediation programs for I/I and SSO mitigation. Leveraging her strong analytical background, she solves performance issues by assessing flow hydraulics and applying risk factors to deliver sound improvement recommendations. She has managed and delivered inflow/infiltration mitigation programs involving modeling, condition inspections, and rehabilitation recommendations and has helped clients successfully navigate regulatory requirements and deadlines.
