RJN's Karol Giokas is a Contributing Author of Manhole Rehab Factsheet

The Sanitary Manhole Rehabilitation Fact Sheet was created by a joint team of wastewater engineering professionals, including RJN’s Karol Giokas, PE, the Water Environment Federation, and the National Association of Sewer Service Companies.

This fact sheet is a quick reference for comparing rehabilitation alternatives for sanitary sewer structures and contains an overview of materials, applications, and best practices for manhole repair or rehabilitation.

Karol was a major contributor to the development of this fact sheet. She has led hundreds of municipal sanitary sewer improvement projects throughout the Midwest over her three-decade-long career. In addition, she’s played a key leadership role in RJN’s adoption of innovative tools and technologies for manhole condition investigation, defect analysis, and asset management modeling to enhance infrastructure evaluation and planning programs.
