RJN Group, Inc. Implements New Management Structure: Ushering in a New Era for the Firm

Wheaton, IL (June 4, 2014) – In order to promote the sustained growth of RJN Group, Inc. (RJN), a national civil engineering firm based in Wheaton, IL, the firm has undergone a change in Senior Management structure.

The new organization structure of RJN’s Senior Management consists of the following:

President/CEO: Alan J. Hollenbeck, P.E., BCEE

Mr. Hollenbeck was the fifth employee of the firm, hired in 1977.  He has held roles as a Project Engineer, Project Manager, Vice President; and President/CEO since 1995 when RJN became an employee-owned firm (ESOP).  Mr. Hollenbeck’s role will include providing direction to ensure that the firm meets goals for growth, diversification, sales, and profitability.

Chief Financial Officer: Valerie Kelley

Ms. Kelley joined RJN in 2004 and became a Principal in 2008.  In addition to managing the Accounting and Human Resources Departments, Ms. Kelley will maintain the firms banking relationships and internal controls, and optimize accounting and project management systems to ensure improved project and operational efficiencies. 

Chief Operating Officer: Jeff Plymale

Mr. Plymale joined RJN in 2001 and became a Principal in 2008 after a successful period as a Business Developer and providing on-site management and development of processes and procedures for RJN’s largest flow monitoring programs to date.  Mr. Plymale’s role will include implementing companywide standards and developing tools that will result in improved efficiencies and higher quality deliverables to clients.

National Sales Manager: Paul Costa

Mr. Costa joined RJN in 2002 and became a Principal in 2012, in those 10 years Mr. Costa led the firm in producing record sales.  Mr. Costa’s role will include supervising the RJN Client Managers; providing sales coaching to Project Managers; enhancing the sales process; and expanding not only the sales team but also our existing markets and moving RJN into new geographic regions.
