Presentation Title: Large Diameter Restrained Joint PVC Pipe Helps Chicago Suburb Get Relief from Sewer Backups

Description: An 18" force main was proposed to relieve a residential basin from sewer backups. Drilling under a creek and wetlands with limited layout area/poor soil bearing strength made a restrained joint PVC pipe desirable, but it was unavailable. The project was made possible by working with a pipe manufacturer. Visit this presentation to learn more about this challenge and its resolution.
