Kenneth Beard, PMP, has joined RJN’s leadership team as the chief operating officer. Beard will draw from his extensive track record of identifying efficiencies and refining processes to drive the growth of new markets as well as ensure that RJN’s mission of delivering practical solutions for clients is achieved.
After two decades with the Air Force, Ken transitioned to the private sector where he has delivered outstanding results at an executive level.
“Kenneth’s background with utilities and infrastructure complements our leadership team’s dynamic, and serves to broaden the depth of experience that has led RJN to achieve such great success over the last 40 years,” said Jeff Plymale, CEO of RJN. “Kenneth has demonstrated tremendous strength in building out value-driven programs during his career and this skill will be put to use in enhancing our penetration within new and existing markets.”
Beard, a Colorado native, will support RJN’s Denver office in expanding their footprint and engaging new business opportunities.

Kenneth has over 13 years of experience within the realm of engineering and utilities, rising through the ranks from project manager to director of operations. He also serves as the president of the board of directors for Arapahoe County Water & Wastewater Agency, located in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
