Recently, the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSDGC) transitioned to a remote monitoring system that uses wireless telemetry for their flow metering network. MSDGC typically has 200 to 400 meters active in their system to record system flow data to support system monitoring and capital planning efforts. Wireless telemetry transports the data to a web-based data management platform, allowing access to data in almost real-time. MSDGC selected RJN Group, Inc. to assist with the transition to wireless flow data collection activities and the development of ongoing data analysis and management efforts.  RJN provides services on an “as-needed” basis to meet the needs of ongoing MSDGC initiatives for equipment configuration, data management platform customizations, work flow assistance, data analysis, and in-situ calibration measurements.
