RJN has assisted the City of Rolling Meadows, a suburban Chicago community and satellite of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD), with their proactive management of collection system assets since 1997.  In 2005, RJN developed a 10-year master plan providing guidance for budgeting and conducting ongoing maintenance programs.  In 2014, the plan was updated providing a short- and long-term approach to identify and remediate “critical” sewers as required by the new MWRD Inflow/Infiltration Control Program (IICP).  GIS maps illustrated recommended measures, outlined plans, provided estimated costs, and showed key areas of concern providing the basis for I/I reduction measures and annual reporting required under the IICP.
