Fort Smith, Arkansas – Since 2002, RJN has supported multiple phases of the City’s ongoing sewer improvement program providing regulatory assistance, capacity analyses, I/I mitigation and remediation, condition assessments, sewer design, and construction management services. Currently, RJN is providing Sanitary Sewer Assessment services in compliance with a Consent Decree. This multi-year program is focused on conducting comprehensive condition assessments to remediate condition and capacity issues. The remedial action plans incorporate analysis for consequence and risk of failure analyses.
Laurel, Maryland – The multi-year Trunk Sewer Inspection Program is being conducted as a requirement of the WSSC Consent Decree issued by the Department of Justice (DOJ). RJN was selected to provide services for a manhole and exposed pipe inspection program for trunk sewers and feeder lines located in challenging sites, including heavily wooded right-of-ways and along or crossing streams.
Joliet, Illinois – The City of Joliet, the fourth largest city in the state of Illinois, owns and maintains a collection system composed of combined sewers and separate sewers of varying ages. To continue to provide high levels of service, the City enlisted RJN to develop a program to minimize basement backups and sanitary/combined sewer overflows, restore structural integrity, reduce inflow and infiltration, and update the City’s GIS.
St. Louis, Missouri – Under the CSO/SSO program required under the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District CIP/Consent Decree, RJN is providing comprehensive sewer system investigation and support services. These services focus on collecting data as needed to support MSD planning efforts and have included: mapping updates/GIS support; sewer prioritization program assistance; CMOM program documentation and asset management support; condition field inspections; CCTV review; and Maximo system documentation.
Salisbury, Maryland – The City of Salisbury needed a city-wide I/I study and sewer system evaluation strategy. The City hired RJN to develop this strategy and conduct initial field investigations, including flow monitoring and manhole inspections for the first of the three-phase study strategy developed. RJN also prepared a final I/I analysis and MH I/I source report based on the field data collected.
